1. Old Navy

The first place we are going to list here on our list of stores for frugal people will be none other than Old Navy. What we like about this store is that it has constant sales, it is family-friendly, and even more, it has a gender-neutral department. On the other hand, some of you might be bothered by the generic style, but this is a pretty small drawback if you ask us.

Old Navy is for sure one of the oldest brands in America, and it still thrives with all of its fantastic deals and discounts. And what is best is the fact that all of the discounts are for items that you need right now and not for those that were reclaimed from last season.

We really like this because it means you will be able to buy a nice new jacket in the winter or a swimsuit in the summer for 50% off. This is what everyone wants! Even more, they always have coupons you can use, and the phrase “50% off storewide” is quite popular in the Old Navy stores.

If you are a fan of online shopping, you need to know that this store still remains one of the stores for frugal people. We say this because it has exclusive deals for those who prefer buying online. You can combine going to the store physically and shopping online, and you will get a strategy that will help you save the most money.

2. Stores for frugal people? TJ Maxx

If you want designer clothes at affordable prices, then TJ Maxx is for you. It has a wide selection, and you will not regret buying finer things from them. This is the best store for frugal people who want good-quality clothing at cheap prices.

The thing about TJ Maxx is that they truly are max. They have huge stores, and this can be quite an overwhelming experience for some people. Because of this, we believe that it is better to make a pan before you go shopping there. Think about what you want to buy and try to search only for that.

Also, the fact that they have so many deals might make you forget what you were looking for in the first place. Imagine finding a pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses that are 50% off. You will probably want to search for more deals like this one.

Now, if we look at the real drawbacks of this store, they have high shipping costs. If you want to shop online on the official TJ Maxx website, you might feel a little setback by the pricy shipping expenses.

3. Gazelle

If you want a new smartphone or you want to sell your old smartphone, Gazelle is the perfect place. The website is extremely user-friendly, and it also has a 30-day return policy. Besides buying phones, you can also get some nice deals on other electronics, such as laptops, tablets, and smartwatches.

The cheapest way to buy what you need is to look out for their resale offers. Usually, you can find a lot of things, sometimes even at 50% off. So why would you miss such a chance?

Also, Gazelle is known to give you fantastic payment plans with an APR equal to 0%. What more can you wish for when you are buying a new phone?

Another reason we consider this one of the best stores for frugal people is because they have a 30-day return policy. This is good because you can buy your gadget and try it, and if you don’t like it, you can take advantage of this policy and return it.

4. 6PM.com

Did somebody say cheap designer clothes? 6PM.com is a store that should not be missing from our list of the greatest stores for frugal people. The reasons are the following: their deals for designer items are incredible, and the website is user-friendly.

When we say that it has good prices, we mean that you can find bags from Michael Kors or Kate Spade for as little as $50! Also, clothing items for Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, or Polo can usually be bought for prices that are 80% off if they are compared to retail prices.

The website is excellent because you can get an accurate view of the product that you wish to buy. They have many pictures, people leave reviews, and you can even get the MSRP. This is transparent and can truly help you decide if you want to buy the item or not.

There are very few locations where you can find brand names for less money than on this website, and there are always different promotions going on. Additionally, there is a clearance area where you can further reduce your already ridiculously low costs.

On the other hand, besides all of these advantages and amazing prices, there is something about 6PM.com that might make some folks don’t want to buy from them. The return policy is not the best because they won’t let you change the products if they don’t fit you. Hopefully, you can still get a full refund.

5. Target

This is a classic, and almost everybody loves Target. The savings card is a big advantage because it is not a scam, and you can truly save a few bucks if you use it. Also, the deals are always there. Every time you visit Target, you will find good deals and offers.

We think that this is one of the best options for frugal people because you just go into their dollar section and see with your own eyes how many things and essentials you can buy for less than $5.

To receive benefits specifically for shopping at Target, get the Target Red Card. It functions similarly to a credit card while also offering benefits like 5% off every $35 spent!

Now, one of the not-so-good parts of this store is that most of its items are generic, and even if you find a good deal, the items might not be available in the store that you want to go to. Also, if you want to buy online, you should be careful because the shipping prices are insane. So, even if you find something at a great price, you will spend the money on shipping. This is not really worth it.

  1. I find much better buys in my town-Springfield, Mo. than I do at any of these stores and 3 of the stores are local stores. We buy the majority of our clothes and NBC-Name Brand Clothes aka the 1/2 of 1/2 price store. They also sell home goods, toys and luggage. If you give them your phone number and address you are sent a card with monthly promos you can get by giving them your phone number. Yesterday I got new ladies panties 99 Cents, Hanes and Jockey brands. I got 99 cent jackets for me and a daughter.1 jacket was from the Walt Disney store. I looked it up on line and it was originally $109.00. We have a local Bin store. The owner buys a massive box of stuff, sets it out on tables and on Tuesday every thing is $1.98. I have purchased winter covers for our patio furniture, a case of Frito Lay assorted bags of snacks, and a mattress cover, just recently. Some times they have food and the local Mexican Cafe owners were there buying 10 pound bags of rice for $1.98. I just flat out asked the men pushing the carts full of rice if they were Mexican Cafe owners and sheepishly they all said “Yes.” I replied “Good for you.” We are doing very well and retired, but we have always shopped this way. Many of our immigrants also shop these stores. It is not unusual to hear 3-4 different languages being spoken. Every community has stores like this.
