Frugal Americans presents you: Kirkland products you don’t want to miss!

If you love to buy your kitchen supplies from Costco, you probably know how good Kirkland products are. This is the giant retailer’s line, and it was launched in 1995. Ever since that lucky year, it has accounted for over 1/4 of the company’s yearly revenues, which is pretty amazing considering how many purchases need to be made every single day to obtain such impressive results.

I’ve talked to a couple of customers to find out which are their favorite Kirkland products, and let me tell you that we tried them too, and yes, they’re top-notch. Whether we talk about their famous bakery, delicious bacon, perfect texture cheese, kitchen stock, or any other things that you could serve your family, all of these Kirkland products are incredible, and you should check them out.

My mouth is already watering just by writing this article, and you’d better believe that I’m going to visit Costco when I finish today’s work. So without further ado, let’s talk about these Kirkland products that we all need in our kitchens!

1. Bacon

Everything’s better with bacon, right? If you love eating some delicious and crispy bacon in the morning, you should definitely go to Costco and get some Kirkland products.

A bunch of customers participated in a blind taste test in which they tasted several types of bacon from different producers, and the one the majority of them liked the most was the one from Kirkland.

All of them liked the balance of fat and meat flavors, as well as its crispiness, and if you ask me, I love eating this bacon in the morning with some eggs and a piece of toast. Another reason why customers love Kirkland products is that they’re budget-friendly and yet of high quality.

For instance, the bacon from Kirkland is generally sold for less than $2 per pound compared to its name-brand competitors. You can purchase this product in a pack of four one-pound individually wrapped packages for less than $30, which is a pretty big deal given the high inflation.

2. Cheese

Who doesn’t love cheese? Is one of the best things ever, but if you’re picky with this type of food, you’ll be happy to hear that cheese is one of the Kirkland products that you shouldn’t miss.

A pound of the famous Kirkland Signature Whole Wheel Parmigiano Reggiano can be yours for less than $30, which is a bargain compared to other supermarkets that offer the same kind of cheese but under a different name and at a much higher price.

You can use this delicious cheese in pasta, sandwiches, with eggs in the morning, or with fries or baked potatoes. If you’re looking for a type of cheese that is tasty but affordable, Costco is the place to go.

I love eating cheese with pasta, and grilled cheese sandwiches with salami are my favorites, so you’d better believe that this heavenly product is on my list of Kirkland products that you have to buy!

3. Coffee

Okay, maybe your cup of java is the thing that makes you excited to wake up in the morning, so if you don’t want to compromise on taste but still want to save money, Costco’s here for you.

You don’t need to do that, because coffee is also one of the Kirkland products that are affordable and still of high quality, especially if you have a Keurig coffee machine at home. Costco has K-cups that include boxes of 120 medium organic roast pods for less than $50, which is going to make your mornings and afternoons better too.

But if you don’t have a machine and prefer to make your coffee the old-fashioned way, there’s no problem because Costco also sells ground and whole-bean coffee, which are tasty and delicious. And yes, the prices are amazing.

4. Pastries

Whether you like to eat pastries in the morning as a sweet breakfast or want to serve something tasty to your guests, pastries are one of the Kirkland products that are delicious.

You can get water-boiled bagels, chocolate mousse cake, birthday cake, croissants, donuts, and so many other things from Costoco’s bakery, so don’t shy away from trying all of their magical goodies.

5. Chicken stock

If you go to Costco to buy some incredible Kirkland products for your home, don’t forget to put some chicken stock in your cart too. This tasty item is perfect for those who love to cook because it will make every soup a lot more delicious.

However, keep in mind that when you purchase this Kirkland Signature Organic Chicken Stock, you buy in bulk an entire case of chicken stock, but that shouldn’t be a problem because it has a long shelf life. Buying this from Costco saves you a lot of money compared to other stores where you’ll pay double, such as Walmart or Target.

6. Eggs

Eggs are a staple in almost every home because they’re easy to cook, are high in protein, and are easy to pair with other tasty foods. So if you’re looking for the perfect organic brown eggs, say no more, because this is one of the Kirkland products that you shouldn’t miss.

You’ll pay less than $10 for a 24-pack of organic brown eggs, and that’s a bargain, given the fact that an 18-pack of large organic brown eggs costs around the same at Walmart. The price is rather similar, but you get the same quality and fewer items for the same money, which is exactly why Costco is better, as some customers say.

7. Gasoline

This feature might not be available at every single Costco you go to, but if you’re lucky to live in a place where the giant retailer has a gas station adjacent to it, make sure you get some gas because it is totally worth it.

Kirkland Signature Gasoline is approximately 3% cheaper than at regular gas stations, and while the difference might not seem so big when we analyze it per gallon (only a dime less or something like that per gallon), a complete fill-up might save you at least $3, and that will add up quickly, especially if you drive your car a lot.

This might not be a regular Kirkland product, but you should give it a try and see if you like it or not!

8. Laundry detergent

We all need to do laundry, right? So why not get one of these amazing Kirkland products that will make our lives easier and our wallets happier? Kirkland Signature Laundry Detergent works like a dream, is affordable, and smells great, so there are no reasons why you shouldn’t try it.

Many customers say that this product is wonderful, but if you need more reasons to convince you to get it, you should know that it costs less than $20 for a 194-ounce jug, so that’s pretty amazing.

However, if you tried these Kirkland products and didn’t like them, this laundry detergent from Amazon works just as well, and its lavender smell is incredible. Check it out here!

9. Rotisserie chicken

If you’re a chicken lover, you’ll definitely love this rotisserie chicken from Costco! The majority of Kirkland products taste amazing, but these rotisserie chickens are so good that it’s impossible for someone to not like them.

If the giant retailer doesn’t manage to sell all the chickens they have, they repurpose them into other fresh foods made onsite that they sell in-store.

For instance, you can find leftover but still delicious rotisserie chicken in noodle soups, and if that’s not something you like, you can also purchase packages of shredded chicken, which generally come in handy when you want to make sandwiches, salads, or home-made soups. As for the price, for an entire rotisserie delicious chicken, you’ll pay less than $10, which is an incredible deal, if you ask me.

These Kirkland products are the best, and I 100% recommend you check them out! If you purchase this rotisserie chicken and you can’t eat it entirely, shred a couple of pieces and turn it into soup, or make a tomato and chicken sauce for some delicious pasta! This way, you’ll have food for many days to come!

10. Wine

Did you know that Costco has wine sales of $1.8 billion each year, making it one of the biggest and most important wine sales in the entire country? One of the reasons why their wine sales are so important is that Kirkland wine is one of the best on the market.

So if you’re looking for the perfect drink to enjoy after dinner with someone special, go on a trip to Costco, because you’ll find a large selection of wines that will make your taste buds very, very happy.

Who would’ve imagined that one of people’s favorite Kirkland products would be a wine bottle? Well, it’s true, and if you don’t believe it, you have to try it yourself.

Which one of these Kirkland products do you have at home, or do you plan on getting any of them? Leave a comment below and let us know what you think!

    1. Sorry, but Costco’s price on eggs is no bargain. And only an idiot feels compelled to buy “organic.” I do way better in the regular stores when they’re on sale or at Aldi or Lidl.

    2. And if you’re going to talk about Costco’s rotisserie chicken, why would you only say that it’s “under $10?” Hello? It’s $4.99 at EVERY Costco nationwide!

    3. And if you’re going to talk about Kirkland Parmigiana Reggiano cheese, why would you just say it’s “under $30/pound?” Hello? It’s $10.99/pound at EVERY Costco nationwide!

    4. Costco’s bakery items are nothing but chemicals and preservatives. Take a look at any of the labels. I wouldn’t take it for FREE!

You left out Kirkland Ice cream. Qualify is as good as any premium brand at half the per ounce price.

I love Costco! There are only two of us in our household, but we still go to Costco for certain things, one being one (or two chickens). They are delicious and inexpensive. We like their bakery goods, and we also buy our paper products there. The coffee is good as well.
